thanksgiving.

Nov. 22, 2024

Thanksgiving is coming.

I’m no scholar, no teacher or wise man

This season might be difficult

Dark times may surround you, while you search for peace

One thing is for sure, though.

To find peace, you must be grateful for the things you have.

To find peace is to be content in your journey.

Be grateful for the things you have;

be content with what you have;

and you will be more wealthy than any rich man.

God sets our sails; we need only row the boat.

God will shape you. You just need faith.

Walk with God. He will straighten your paths.

You ask for discipline, so God tests you with addictions and temptations.

You ask for patience, so God tests you with delays and setbacks.

You ask for a relationship, so God tests you with being alone.

You might fall, but you haven’t failed.

So, even though it may be hard,

Give grace to yourself and others

Pick up your cross

Put on your armor

Pick yourself back up

Talk to God

And most importantly, keep marching.

When looking back on a war, you won’t see the battles you lost or all of the bad times you had.

Rather, you’ll be glad that you won the war.

Don’t give up because you’ve lost a few battles.

The war within your soul is still on.

Keep fighting.

Keep your faith.

And keep marching.
